10 years for a company, it’s as much telling times, symbolic moments, and steps we went through.
Etienne and Stéphane etalked about that earlier, by the end of 2015, Obeo blew out its 10th candle and we received a lot of sweet birthday wishes.
On this occasion, last January 20th, we enjoyed a party with clients and partners. Good atmosphere made in #WeAreObeo!
(English subtitles available)
And since it’s always good to laugh at oneself, here is the story of this 10 years told with the web mood!

2016 edition of The Embedded World Conference, which took place at Nuremberg in Germany, fulfilled all its promises!
Event dedicated to the embedded systems, #EMB16 is an essential meeting with more than 25 000 attendees.

Etienne Juliot and Samuel Rochet made a presentation of Capella, an MBSE solution related to a successfully experienced methodological guidance, Arcadia. It provides intuitive model editing, and viewing capabilities to systems and softwares architects working on embedded systems.
A collective success since Capella has been created by Thales, expert in both the corresponding methodology and the tool functionalities, while Obeo masters Eclipse technologies to both develop and industrialize modeling workbenches.

Last December 3rd, Obeo organized the 1st SiriusCon, a one-day free event dedicated to the Eclipse Sirius technology.
Since its launch in 2013, the Eclipse Sirius has gathered an important (and enthusiastic) community excited by this Open Source technology that makes them possible, at last, to create the modeling tool of their needs. So, it was the perfect time to meet up! We wanted to hold an event to get together both beginner and advanced Sirius users, and anyone who is interested by the modeling technologies and by open-source. That’s how the SiriusCon project started.
133 registered, 9 speakers, 95% of the attendees satisfied...: SiriusCon 2015 was a great success! Thanks everyone for your energy and your continued support since the beginning of this adventure.

We are already looking forward SiriusCon 2016 with everything that has made it a success: advanced features ...
If you went to the last ERTS edition (Embedded Real Time Software and Systems) at Toulouse, by the end of January, you may have encountered Christophe Boudjennah and Samuel Rochet from Obeo.
Indeed, ERTS is the place where embedded systems experts meet, whether they are academic, industrial, or tool providers…including us!
Christophe and Samuel were there alongside with the other PolarSys consortium members (such as Airbus Group, French CEA, Ericsson and Thales).
On the agenda, a talk by Pascal Roques about Capella, an Open Source Model Base System Engineering workbench developed by Thales.

As a logical consequence, this event gave prominence to the aeronautic, the aerospace, and automotive sectors.
We will have to be patient until 2018 to attend the 9th edition of ERTS. But be sure that before that, we will talk about engineering systems! To be continued......
