Come and find out about Sirius and, in just a few hours, create your very first graphical modeling tool. Whether you are an IT Architect or Developer, a Tools and Methods Manager, or an Embedded Software or Systems Engineer, you are called on daily to devise and design innovative solutions in complex environments. Come to this Sirius roadshow event and find out how to create an efficient graphical tool to describe your design choices and define your architecture. This event is free and open to beginners with Eclipse Modeling technologies and advanced users alike. The day kicks off with Sirius presentations including several real-life case studies from the community. But best of all, in the afternoon you will create your first Sirius prototype under supervision by our team. In this video, Laurent Charles (Enalean) and Laurent Delaigue (Obeo) will introduce Tuleap Agile Planner for Eclipse. The objective of the talk, in addition to present the first EPL Agile Planner integrated in eclipse, is to present a return on experience on how 3 companies worked together in an Agile way, within an Agile business, to provide a 100% libre and open source solution within the Eclipse ecosystem.

The talk was recorded at EclipseCon Europe 2014.

The next edition of EclipseCon North America will take place on March 9-12 2015 in San Francisco. The program was announced with 84 talks and Modeling will be, as usual, an important topic. Obeo will be there with two presentations on Sirius: Arduino Designer: The Making of! The design tool created for Arduino, the Open Source electronics platform, will be used as a thread to explain how to create a custom graphical modeling tool with Sirius. Sirius + Xtext = ♥ How to combine Xtext and Sirius in order to create tools using textual and graphical editing for your models. You can already register on the conference website

Obeo will share a common booth with the PolarSys project during Embedded World Conference 2015 that will take place from February 24-26 2015 at Nuremberg in Germany. Each year, this is a key moment for the Embedded community: nearly 27'000 attendees in 2014! For us, it will be the opportunity to present the PolarSys consortium and how it will help the creation and support of Open Source tools for the development of embedded systems. We will present also our Eclipse expertise and our Systems Engineering offer. Several demonstrations of Sirius will be proposed to discover the power of a custom graphical modeling workbench, in particular for the design of complex systems.
