Let’s start the year by the traditional unveiling of Capella’s new features!
The Capella development teams have once again been active on multiple fronts bringing Capella 1.4 features enhancements spanning from small quick wins to major improvements of core Capella foundations.
On Wednesday 15th of January, at 5PM (UTC+1), attend the next webinar to both discover these evolutions and have general perspectives on the Capella ecosystem.
The webinar will be driven in English by Juan Navas and Stéphane Bonnet, from Thales....
Obeo provides open software solutions to address the needs for designing industrial solutions (avionics, space, defense, energy, transportation, etc.), complex softwares, as well as managing the digital transformation of organizations. Strategic member of the Eclipse foundation, Obeo develops technologies such as Eclipse Sirius (graphic modeling) or Acceleo (code generation), and is a member the Capella Industry Consortium (model-based systems engineering). Obeo’s solutions combine the openness of Open Source and the reliability of a software provider.
Well that's for the formal description. But for those who know us, you are aware of our deep investment in the Open Source and the Eclipse communities. It's not just about business model, it's also related to our vision, our values and our convictions.
And this year we are half excited half scared just as you are at the first day at school. EclipseCon Europe 2019 will not only be about innovations, friends, and (of course) beers. For u...
In a few days will start the Siemens PLM Software #RealizeLive conference sponsored by Obeo. More exactly on June 10th, will open 'the premier industry solutions event, connecting the Siemens Digital Industries Software community with peers, partners, and products while promoting networking opportunities to learn, grow and optimize the tools', as explained on the official event website.
Why is Obeo there? Because world leading companies are relying on our open modeling technologies to unleash their domain-specific expertise for specifying and designing products, services or organizations. From early prototypes to enterprise-scale solutions, our experts in open source modeling technologies help you create, customize or extend model-driven tools and integrate them with your existing solutions. Our open technologies, such as Eclipse Sirius, are building-blocks and provide important features to facilitate the creation of domain-specific modeling workbenches.

April is a Capella busy week with two industrial use-case.
On the 9th April, we had the pleasure to listen to Jim Daly (Rolls-Royce UK). Jim talked about Arcadia and Capella for a large complex mechanical system.
Rolls-Royce is a pre-eminent engineering company focused on world-class power and propulsion systems. This webinar discussed how Rolls-Royce is using Arcadia / Capella to define the architecture of a large civil aerospace turbofan engine. MBSE promises to help manage system complexity and minimise the associated risk.
This webinar was driven by Jim Daly: Jim Daly has nearly forty years’ experience in aerospace engine development: fuel systems; control systems; software development; process improvement and thirteen years in current role as a System Architect at Rolls-Royce, responsible for control system and whole engine architecture and since 2016 deployment of MBSE.

The end of the year deals with family time, too much food, Christmas songs and… SiriusCon!
You may have already heard about this event, dedicated to graphical modeling and more precisely to Eclipse Sirius an open source framework to easily create a graphical modeling workbench dedicated to your domain-specific expertise (the best tool for creating impressive modelers!).
During this free event, organized with the support of the Eclipse Foundation, attendees benefited from from users feedback, advanced features presentations, and demonstrations.
But this year we want to go further.
Since the 6.0 release, Sirius is embracing the web and the cloud...
(Want to know more about the present and future of Sirius? Have a look at the blog posts countdown our experts wrote for EclipseCon Europe a few days ago.)
The team is working hard to enable you to also execute your own modeling workbench in a web browser.
Sirius is a global solution used worldwide within...
