On Tuesday the 13th, Thales and Obeo will sponsor the 7th edition of CSD&M Paris, with a joint booth and several talks to present Capella, the open MBSE solution.
As the ‘Complex Systems Design & Management’ (CSD&M) international conference website mentioned ‘Mastering complex engineered systems requires a global integrated understanding both of industrial practices and of sophisticated theoretical tools’. Indeed, CSD&M is the right place for industrials, tools providers and experts to exchange about their Systems Engineering tools and practices.
You are an engineer and need help to formalize systems specifications and master architectural design of your project? Capella, an Open Source Model-Based Systems Engineering workbench, is your tool!
As partners, Obeo, one of the main graphical modeling technologies experts, and Thales, creator of Capella (and its methodology, Arcadia), provide a comprehensive expertise on this powerful technology.
On Tuesday, CSD&M att...

SiriusCon Paris 2016 is over… and yes we know, it’s sad!
During months, we were focusing on November 15th. For both technical and organization teams, it was one of our main 2016 targets. But we all know how it deals when such a long-awaited event finally happens: it always goes too quickly!
SiriusCon 2016 didn’t escape this rule!
As well as the first one was, this second edition of SiriusCon Paris is considered as a great success. Thank for all!
This year, more than 100 attendees coming from almost 10 different countries participated to the international conference on graphical modeling. If that is not THE evidence that SiriusCon is a worldwide event!
Again, we hope you appreciated as we did the fact that SiriusCon is made for both beginner and advanced users. SiriusCon’s program has been thought as a whole day dedicated to graphical modeling: case studies, technical sessions, hands-on and tutorials, Sirius Clinic... Everything was made to ensure you spent a nice but intensive d...
Today is the last day...
SiriusCon Paris 2016 will start tomorrow!
This international conference on graphical modeling is the right place to meet and share with the Eclipse Sirius community & the team behind the technology
You can’t attend it?

When an Eclipse Conference is over, we usually fall into a nostalgic mood. Whatever it deals with EclipseCon North America, France, or Europe, each edition leaves us with that blues feeling. (Or better we say ‘sadness’ after having read one of the last Melanie’s Bats blog post.)
Last EclipseCon Europe may have reached a new level… Indeed, it will make a deep impression with a record attendance (619 attendees). So, if someone was still wondering: yes, the Eclipse community is enthusiast and like to meet! To be more precise, there are several Eclipse communities, and at Obeo, we are deeply involved in the modeling one. From Obeo’s point of view, and just as our CTO Cédric Brun said: “Eclipse is way more than just the Eclipse IDE”.
This year, our busy schedule at Ludwigsburg was all about graphical modeling (and we were really busy with 1 workshop, 4 talks, an IoT playground activity, and a booth). And we came back really happy from ECon EU since you were several with positive feedback ...
By the end of the month, we will be back at EclipseCon EU which is one of the main events for the Eclipse community.
We are excited to present our last technologies’ features such as properties view with Eclipse Sirius 4.1. On that topic, if it you have not already read it, we highly recommend Mélanie’s blog post (as usual, well written with humor).
The Eclipse family is part of our. Many of us are committers on several Eclipse projects (among which Sirius, EMF Compare, Acceleo, Ecore Tools…), and if not (yet), they are deeply involved in them.
Each year, we like to go to several events where the Open Source and modeling community meet. Of course, we all got in mind the official Eclipse events (i.e. EclipseCon North America, France or Europe). But there are also many others such as recently MoDELS, INCOSE Symposium, and in almost a month, THE international conference on graphical modeling: SiriusCon 2016, at Paris on November 15th. By the way, it’s still time to register.
But as th...
