Systems Engineering Test and Evaluation (SETE) Conference
Obeo is honored to sponsor the upcoming SETE Conference, the Systems Engineering Test and Evaluation conference organized by the SESA and the INCOSE Australian Chapter in Sydney, from April 27th to 30th, 2026.
During this event, Romain Horcada from Obeo will co-present a tutorial with Tim Carter from Clarity SE, a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in complex systems engineering, specializing in Arcadia and Capella, and experienced in deploying MBSE in organizations of all sizes.
In this session, you will explore the fundamentals of the Arcadia Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) method, a structured approach to defining, designing, and analyzing complex systems. Arcadia helps engineers systematically capture requirements, define operational and system architectures, and ensure alignment between stakeholder needs and system design.
You will also gain hands-on experience with Capella, an open-source MBSE tool used by over 1,000 organizations worldwide. Capella provides a visual and intuitive environment for modeling system architectures, enabling engineers to create, analyze, and communicate designs effectively.
This interactive tutorial will equip you with a robust understanding of Arcadia’s methodology and practical skills in using Capella to model architectures, validate requirements, and explore system alternatives. By the end, you will appreciate how MBSE transforms engineering projects, improves collaboration, and reduces design risks.
