Obeo est honoré de sponsoriser le prochain MBSE Summit 2026, organisé par le chapitre indien de l’INCOSE à Chennai, les 24 et 25 avril.

Cette année, le thème de l’événement sera "Engineering the Future: Mobility & Next-Generation Industries".

À cette occasion, Ashutosh Sonawane, d’Obeo, donnera une présentation intitulée "Open-Source MBSE in Action: Driving Adoption, Collaboration, and Scalability in Systems Engineering".

To maintain a global and coherent vision of complex systems, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) offers a powerful alternative to traditional document-based approaches. By relying on formal digital models to specify, design, analyze, and verify systems, MBSE enables more effective decision-making, improves collaboration across stakeholders, enhances understanding of system complexity, and facilitates tool integration.

In this talk, Ashutosh will present Obeo's open-source strategy to support and accelerate the adoption of MBSE at scale.

He will first introduce Capella, the most widely adopted open-source MBSE solution, recognized for its pragmatic, field-proven methodology. Capella provides a ready-to-use, scalable, and customizable framework for deploying MBSE across organizations. Its rich ecosystem, including extensions for collaboration, cloud deployment, ALM integration, and eco-design, makes it a strong foundation for implementing a robust digital thread.

He will then introduce SysON, an open-source MBSE solution designed for graphical modeling with the emerging SysML v2 standard. Built as a modern web-based application, SysON simplifies access to modeling activities while offering the flexibility needed to adapt to specific engineering contexts and integrate within existing toolchains. This open approach aims to foster innovation and lower the barrier to adopting next-generation modeling standards.

Through concrete feedback and insights, this session will highlight how open-source MBSE solutions enable organizations to combine standardization, flexibility, and industrial scalability to successfully drive their systems engineering transformation.
