2014 was a very full year for us at Obeo where notably we developed a community for Sirius, our Open Source solution for creating custom modeling tools.
Openness is part of Obeo's DNA.
That is why right from the outset Obeo has always opted for Open Source where we can work transparently with our clients and partners to create flexible, accessible, and long-term solutions capable of adapting to changing technical landscapes and business contexts.
This is also at the heart of our contribution to the development of the Eclipse ecosystem; building a virtuous circle that profits both its users and innovators.
Following this vein we have adapted our Obeo Designer product to combine the advantages of Open Source with the quality and level of support you expect from a professional software provider.

A new major release has been unveiled last december.
Obeo Designer 7.0 integrates Sirius, the Open Source technology to easily create custom modeling tools.
With Obeo Designer, we offer the security of a software provider for the industrial-strength deployment of modelers created with Sirius: benefit from a professional support on Sirius and collaborative modeling features.

A new edition of EclipseCon Europe has just ended. This year again, the Eclipse ecosystem has massively participated to this event, with 600 attendees.
Sirius was one of the top projects with several dedicated presentations and lot of activities on our booth.
